Biography


Lawrence Chabra, Robert A.M. Stern Interiors Studio Director and Associate, has been with the firm since 2009. He has been involved in the interior design and project management of academic projects including Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China; and the renovation and expansion of Ozark Hall at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. His residential projects include 30 Park Place, an 82-story tower in New York City with 157 top-end condominium apartments; the Marco Polo Hotel, the Residential Villas on Mountain Court, a residential development at 31 Conduit Road, and a private residence, all in Hong Kong, as well as a private residence in Toronto, Ontario, and Heart of Lake, a 2,000,000-square-foot residential development in Xiamen, China. His retail experience includes the Tiffany Mezzanine Jewel Salon on Fifth Avenue in New York City.

His current work includes a resort in St. Michaels, Maryland, and two new Residential Colleges at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Prior to joining Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Mr. Chabra worked in broadcast graphics in New York and New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New York School of Interior Design.
