Robert A.M. Stern Architects' Landscape Architecture Department collaborates with the firm's architectural design teams on projects ranging from houses to institutional buildings, from commercial buildings to resorts. Our landscape designs do not fall within a single stylistic vocabulary; rather, for each project we create a thoughtfully conceived, uniquely appropriate landscape that fits its natural and built context by focusing on the physical realities of the project site, on the character of the architectural design, and on the particular needs and aspirations of the client. Whether we are working as part of a complex team on a large-scale project, or crafting an intimate family garden, our primary goals are the same: to complement the architecture with the most appropriate design and to execute that design at the highest level of quality.
