Residence on Bel Air Road
Los Angeles, California, 2008
This stone-clad house engages the landscape to create a sequence of walled and open courtyards. The mass of the house obtains scale and articulation from its resolution into discrete and semi-independent pavilions which, in turn, provide the architectural focal points for the outdoor spaces.
