Heart of Lake

Located on a 25-acre site on Huxindao Island in Xiamen, a major coastal city, this 2,000,000-square-foot residential development will feature a diverse mix of residential types, including high-rise and mid-rise apartments, townhouses, and single-family villas. A highly-visible clubhouse will serve as a gateway to the complex. The residences are organized around a lushly landscaped central park with intimate courtyards, stone paved plazas, and pedestrian streets which lead to the waterfront public park that wraps the peninsula. The project's architectural vocabulary responds to local climate and incorporates detailing and materials found in both traditional Chinese and Mediterranean architecture.
