Bina Bhattacharyya to Speak at the AIANY WIA Committee Meeting

On February 20, RAMSA Associate Partner, Bina Bhattacharyya, will give a presentation on ‘Residential Community Planning’ at the AIA NY Women In Architecture Committee meeting at the Center for Architecture. An informal design discussion will follow the presentation.

Ms. Bhattacharyya has been with Robert A.M. Stern Architects since 2003. She is currently leading the design effort on the office's work in China and Hong Kong, including several high-density, mixed-use developments: AVIC Jinjiang Uptown, an 825,000m2 residential and commercial development in Jinjiang; AVIC Town Center, a 71,000m2 mixed-use resort village on the outskirts of Chongqing; and Heart of Lake, a two-million-square-foot high-rise garden suburb in Xiamen, China, which won the 2014 Charter Award of Merit for Best Neighborhood Plan from the Congress for the New Urbanism. Ms. Bhattacharyya received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and her Master of Science degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University.
