On April 11 at the University of Notre Dame's Rome Global Gateway, RAMSA Partner Melissa DelVecchio, FAIA, will present "Photos Always, Always, Always Lie," a reflection on her study abroad experience, as part of "Architectural Education in Rome: A Plurality of Traditions," the 50th anniversary celebration of the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture's Rome Studies Program. Since the establishment of the program in 1969, Rome has been integral to the personal and professional development of Notre Dame School of Architecture students and alumni. The title of Ms. DelVecchio's talk quotes her professor Dennis Doordan, now Professor Emeritus, who prepared her and her classmates for her first trip to Rome in 1991.
