RAMSA Partner Grant F. Marani to Present the Immanuel Chapel at the World Architecture Festival

RAMSA Partner Grant F. Marani to Present the Immanuel Chapel at the World Architecture Festival
Grant F. Marani will present the Immanuel Chapel, shortlisted for an Award in the Religion category, at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) in Berlin on November 17.

The new Immanuel Chapel at the Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) serves as a place of worship for the Seminary community, for visitors from throughout the worldwide Anglican Communion, and the local congregation; importantly, it also serves as a space to teach seminarians to lead worship. Replacing the historic chapel that served the Seminary from its consecration in 1881 until it was lost to fire in October 2010, the Immanuel Chapel is conceived not as a look back to the 19th century nor as a monument to the present, but truly as a chapel for the ages.

The World Architecture Festival is a three-day event for architects and interior design professionals that features keynote talks from the industry's most influential figures as well as live crit presentations; judging of over 350 awards finalists; global networking; a 400-project gallery; and an international product exhibition. The World Architecture Festival will take place November 16 - 18 at the Arena Berlin, Germany. For more information about the World Architecture Festival, please click here.
