RAMSA Partner Paul Whalen to Participate in City of Tomorrow Summit

On March 16, 2019, at 10:00 AM, RAMSA Partner Paul Whalen will participate in the panel discussion “How Do You Build a Better City?” at the City of Tomorrow summit hosted by the 92Y in New York. Mr. Whalen will discuss strategies he and his team have developed to create high-density urban habitats that engage the public in coherent but multifaceted walkable experiences. Working at a variety of scales and looking at the most admired places in the best cities worldwide—both those that have been planned all at once and those that have evolved naturally over time—Mr. Whalen will discuss in particular lessons learned from the best of New York, the world’s first high-rise, high-density city. Fellow panelists will include Shin-pei Tsay, Executive Director, Gehl Institute; Story Bellows, Partner, CityFi; and Luca Ballarini, Founder & Creative Director, Bellissimo and Curator of Torino Stratosferica. Greg Lindsay will moderate.

City of Tomorrow—now in its third year—unites key players and innovators from the worlds of architecture, real estate and interior design for an incomparable two-day symposium with a host of interactive workshops and panel discussions on timely and provocative topics.
