Robert A.M. Stern at 92Y "City of Tomorrow" Summit

On Friday, January 26, at 6:30 PM, at the 92Y "City of Tomorrow" Real Estate, Architecture & Design Summit, Robert A.M. Stern will speak on the panel discussion "Building Culture: Architects on the Social and Cultural Impact of Their Work" alongside Daniel Libeskind, Founder and Principal Architect at Studio Libeskind, and Billie Tsien, Partner at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects. The discussion will be moderated by Carl Swanson, editor-at-large at New York magazine and Vulture. They will discuss the process and purpose of designing museums, monuments, and other cultural institutions while exploring the responsibility of architects today and their role in interpreting history for future generations. Cultural projects completed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects include the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; the George W. Bush Presidential Center at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts; and the International Quilt Study Center and Museum at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
