900 16th Street NW Named Best New Office Development of 2016
900 16th Street NW, an office building designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects for JBG Companies and ICG Properties, has been recognized as the Best New Office Development of 2016 by the Washington Business Journal.

The nine-story, 142,000 square foot mixed-use building provides offices for Miller & Chevalier, retail space, and a new sanctuary for the Third Church of Christ Scientist. The building is centrally located in the 16th Street Historic District, a few blocks from Lafayette Square and on axis with the White House. 900 16th Street carries forward Washington, DC's traditional palette of light-colored stone. Cherokee white marble storefronts face 16th and I Streets; above, windows framed in Cherokee white marble are set into an Indiana limestone grid. A terrace on the ninth floor offers views to the Washington Monument and the White House. A crystalline interpretation of Gothic pinnacles identifies the entrance to the Church.

RAMSA Partners Robert A.M. Stern and Graham S. Wyatt led the design effort. Cooper Carry served as the associate architect for the project.
