Today developer ACM celebrated the opening of Pezet 561, Robert A.M. Stern Architects' second completed building in Lima, Peru. The 23-story, 32-unit limestone residential tower, located in the San Isidro neighborhood, adapts lessons from early 20th-century New York apartment houses to the lifestyle and temperate climate of Lima, as did its predecessor, Pezet 375, which opened in 2017. Living rooms and master bedrooms with large windows open to broad inset loggias, providing an indoor/outdoor lifestyle while maintaining the masonry character and classical organization of the apartment house type. A lobby rotunda carries forward the spirit of the modern classical exterior; amenities include a gym, a spa, a children's playroom, a theater, and a lap pool that extends from an interior pool room out into a garden. The building rises through setback terraces to an asymmetrical crown that defines a three-story penthouse.

RAMSA Partners Robert A.M. Stern, Paul L. Whalen, and Michael D. Jones led the design effort.
