RAMSA's One Park Avenue Offices Named Energy Star Charter Tenant Space

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced today that Robert A.M. Stern Architects' One Park Avenue offices have been named a 2018 Energy Star Charter Tenant Space. The Energy Star Charter Tenant program was created by the EPA under the Energy Efficiency Improvement Act of 2015 to recognize commercial office tenants who demonstrate a commitment to energy efficiency in their spaces. Over the course of the 10-month pilot program, RAMSA provided the EPA with an estimated energy use report and lighting energy use intensity (EUI) data; an energy and lighting report generated by using a web-based calculation tool developed by the EPA; and an inventory showing the firm's commitment to purchasing energy-efficient equipment. The firm also provided a report verifying the installation of appropriate metering that enables accurate monitoring and tracking of the tenant’s contribution to total building energy use, expressing a commitment to sharing monthly energy consumption data with the landlord upon request. Kohler Ronan and Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design provided electrical engineering and lighting design services, helping RAMSA to meet the Charter Tenant requirements.
