Salvador Peña-Figueroa, Senior Associate, has been with Robert A.M. Stern Architects since 1998. His projects for the office include the LEED Platinum George W. Bush Presidential Center at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; the Perkins Visitor Center for Wave Hill in the Bronx, New York; the Broadway Residence Hall for Columbia University in New York City; improvements to the Kaufman Center, also in New York City; Rafael Díaz-Balart Hall for the Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida; the Becker Business Building at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida; the Calabasas Civic Center in Calabasas, California; offices for the investment firm Angelo, Gordon & Co. in Midtown Manhattan; and a multifamily residential building in Washington, DC. His public library projects include the Clearwater Public Library in Clearwater, Florida; the Columbus Public Library in Columbus, Georgia; the Miami Beach Public Library in Miami Beach, Florida; the Howe Library in Hanover, New Hampshire; the Pequot Library in Southport, Connecticut; and the Yonkers Public Library and Board of Education Offices, Yonkers, New York. He is currently at work on the adaptive re-use of One Wall Street, a mixed-use building in Lower Manhattan.

Prior to joining this office, Mr. Peña-Figueroa was a designer for Perkins-Eastman of New York City, where he worked on commercial and institutional projects on the East Coast.

Mr. Peña-Figueroa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and received his Master of Architecture degree from UCLA in 1992, where he was awarded a fellowship for the top design portfolio of his class. He is a registered architect in the State of New York.
