Robert A.M. Stern Architects has been involved in product design - decorative objects for the table, furniture, lighting, fabrics, floor coverings and wall coverings - for over twenty years. In addition to custom furniture and lighting that we have designed for specific projects, we have also been commissioned over the years to create collections for respected manufacturers in the architectural and interior furnishings industry. Our product design staff collaborates closely with our architects and interior designers to develop the designs in much the same way that we work on our building projects, always looking to historical tradition and technological innovation for inspiration.
