Interior Designer

Responsibilities include:

  • the visual communication of concepts, ideas, and solution utilizing 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional drawings, graphic imagery, verbal, and written communication. Communication can be executed digitally or by hand and presented virtually or as hard copies
  • Develop drawings of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, and finish plans; furniture plans; and elevations, and details
  • Selection of interior building products, materials, and finishes; furniture, furnishings, equipment, and casework
  • Writing FFE and finish specs, as well as finish schedules
  • Obtaining quotes and maintaining budgets
  • Writing proposals, purchase orders and invoices
  • Coordinating details with vendors
  • Creating presentation boards and materials (rendered elevations, mock-ups)
  • Writing Meeting Minutes

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience, at least 3 on multi-family projects
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Concise and articulate written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Design Manager, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Bridge), Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Experience with Rhino, Inventor, Sketchup, 3D Max a plus
