Business Development Coordinator

Position Summary

The Business Development Coordinator will directly support the Director of Business Development in their efforts to develop strategies for growth, cultivate relationships and build the firm’s presence and brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain client development information in the firm’s CRM
  • Enter new business opportunities, prospects and clients
  • Record BD activities, tasks and events of partners and staff
  • Compile and generate reports and statistics related to new business
  • Support administrative activities related to Business Development and Marketing
  • Prepare internal reports and presentations
  • Assist with research related to clients, team formation and RFQ/RFP preparation
  • Participate in market and industry research in support of the firm’s key objectives
  • Maintain the firm’s list of conferences/events, and support teams in preparation for conferences
  • Support the updates to business development plans, and tools to implement these plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the firm’s Marketing and Research departments as needed

 Required Skills and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field required
  • 3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or research role required
  • strong organizational skills required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Writing skills a plus
  • Graphic design skills a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Excel a plus
  • Experience working with a CRM a plus
