Under Construction
Located in Monterrey’s prestigious San Pedro Garza Garcia neighborhood, our double-tower design of the Torre Gala Residences overlooks the adjacent Club Campestre Golf Course with views to Sierra Madre Mountains beyond. The towers work together with garden walls and low-rise pavilions to define outdoor spaces—dominated by a motorcourt and an outdoor pool court, all connected by a series of additional planted walkways with influences from Mediterranean to local Mexican landscapes. The result is a compelling resort-like community.
Stylistically, this project references an abstracted version of historic Baroque Mexican architecture with the similar but more modernized qualities of Hollywood Regency—a style that captured the imagination of Mexican architects in the early 20th century. The towers are positioned to give each clear views of the surrounding golf course and city skyline. Each has a distinguished base that responds to the architecture of the surrounding urban fabric, and iconic crowns complementary to the penthouses that will occupy the spaces at the top.
The entrance drive creates an experiential buffer between the city and the motorcourt, which in turn provides access to the primary lobby and a small ballroom. Galleries extend beyond the lobby to a variety of amenities located in both towers. Lounges, dining spaces and bars are located primarily in the south tower, while fitness and spa facilities are located in the north tower, all shared by condominium residents. Apartments vary from half-and full-floor residences and are designed to maximize views over the golf course. The design of each apartment uses Classical planning principles and includes a corner loggia with direct views of the Cerro de la Silla and Sierra Madre mountains.
Shared amenities include an al fresco barbecue pavilion, an indoor lap pool, and children's pool overlooking the main pool. Handmade blue Saltillo tiles throughout the pool decks and adjacent loggia enrich the outdoor experiences within the spaces, creating enjoyable views from above, as the dramatic patterns can be read clearly from higher balconies. Connecting the major outdoor rooms, a series of more casual gardens, appropriate to the arid climate, incorporate low-water, sustainable, native plantings that evoke the rich heritage of Spanish and Mexican seasonal living.
