Graham S. Wyatt will give the keynote lecture "Architectural Models: Three-Dimensional Sketches" at "The Art of Architecture: Hand Drawing and Design" conference at the University of Notre Dame on September 30, 2016.
Expanding on the theme of the conference, Mr. Wyatt will go beyond two dimensional representation to discuss the importance and value of hand-crafted physical models as design tools, complementary to digital tools, through their use on several projects currently under way in his studio.
"The Art of Architecture: Hand Drawing and Design" conference will explore the role of hand drawing in architecture from a variety of perspectives, focusing on three broad categories: history, education, and practice. Architects, architectural historians, educators, and students are invited to attend.
