Women's Leadership Initiative

The mission of RAMSA WLI is to develop and promote women’s growth in the profession through education, mentorship, and peer support.

The WLI Steering Committee meets monthly to plan firm-wide events and initiatives that reinforce our mission. We aim to bring together the RAMSA community by providing educational and thought-provoking content for discussion, establishing mentorship and networking opportunities, working intersectionally with other DEI groups, and inspiring and empowering women by showcasing our diverse accomplishments.

RAMSA Q+

The mission of RAMSA Q+ is to promote the inclusion and acceptance of LGBTQ+ people in architecture both in New York and across the design professions as a whole.

By bringing attention to challenges facing members of the LGBTQ+ community in the design professions, by proposing and implementing opportunities for improvement, and by giving visibility to often underrepresented cultural contributions of members of the LGBTQ+ community, the RAMSA Q+ Committee works to encourage the RAMSA community to understand, accept, and support people of all orientations and identities. Initiatives include exhibitions, presentations, guest lectures, forums, and social and professional networking events. The Committee reaches outside the firm to promote acceptance and understanding among the wider professional community and the general public.

RAMSA I.D.E.A.

The RAMSA I.D.E.A. Committee pledges to fostering an intersectional inclusive environment, an anti-racist culture, and an equitable representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The committee will recommend and assist RAMSA in the implementation of strategic initiatives to bring about real and positive changes to our profession, starting with our culture and practices.
