RAMSA Hosts Urban Green Council Design Leadership Forum Panel Discussion

On Wednesday, October 11, Robert A.M. Stern Architects will host a panel discussion for the Urban Green Council's Design Leadership Forum, bringing together leaders from within the New York architectural design community to consider what the profession expects from green building certification. Led by RAMSA Partner Graham S. Wyatt and Nico Kienzl of environmental design consulting and building services engineering firm Atelier Ten, the Forum will feature presentations from three thought leaders: John Lee, Deputy Director for Green Buildings and Energy Efficiency at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Sustainability; Scot Horst, CEO of Arc Skoru Inc. and former USGBC Chief Product Officer.; and Patrick Phillips, CEO of the Urban Land Institute. The Forum is a new voice for harnessing the wisdom of New York City’s best design thinkers and practitioners. Through a series of workshops and published findings, the Forum brings the unique perspective of our industry to bear on critical issues facing the city, especially as they relate to climate change.

The Urban Green Council is the New York Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and seeks to advance the sustainability of urban buildings through education, advocacy, and research.
