On Wednesday June 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM, during the June 21-23 AIA Conference on Architecture in New York City, RAMSA Partner Paul L. Whalen will lead a tour of new apartment towers now rising along Central Park's southern edge, including the Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed 15 Central Park West, 520 Park Avenue, and 220 Central Park South, and others by Christian de Portzamparc, Adrian Smith Gordon Gill Architects, Rafael Viñoly, SHoP, and Jean Nouvel. The tour will discuss the supertall residential tower as a 21st-century type made possible by remarkable engineering and a real estate market that supports the investment these buildings require.
