Robert A.M. Stern and Peg Breen, the President of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, will give the lunch talk "A Modern Traditionalist's View of Architecture and Issues" at the Century Association in New York City on Tuesday, September 26. They will discuss his work as an architect as well as his lifelong obsession with documenting the architecture and urbanism of New York City, including his advocacy for the preservation of neighborhoods and modernist buildings. In recognition of his contributions to the city of New York, Mr. Stern will be recognized as a Living Landmark at the Conservancy's Living Landmarks Celebration on November 1st.
