Jennifer L. Stone, a Partner at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, will join the panel discussion "Campuses Learning From Each Other: Challenges, Solutions, and Opportunities," hosted by Demographic Perspectives and Pirie Associates, on Monday, June 8, from 12:00 noon to 1:15 pm Eastern. The panel will focus on the interactions between people, policy, facilities, and technology on higher education campuses in the pandemic era, exploring the challenges, priorities, and solutions emerging across the field of higher education, and considering how the short-term solutions colleges and universities are implementing today can serve as lessons for longer-term solutions.
Joining Ms. Stone as panelists will be Laura Pirie, Principal, Pirie Associates Architects; Mike Perez, Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Facilities Officer at Vanderbilt University; and Pam Schreiber, Assistant Vice President for Student Life and Executive Director, Housing & Food Services, at the University of Washington. Moderating will be Rena Cheskis-Gold, Principal and Founder of Demographic Perspectives, which provides custom demographic, survey, market research and related communication services to institutions of higher learning for strategic and physical planning purposes. "Together we can discover solutions that preserve both health and community on campus," says Ms. Stone.
