RAMSA Launches Storyboard

Robert A.M. Stern Architects is pleased to announce the launch of Storyboard, a new page on RAMSA’s website that presents the firm’s research-based design process and office culture through short, graphically compelling stories. These stories feature a variety of content, from project-based studies to personal architecture interests. New stories will be added every quarter to keep the page active throughout the year.

The following six stories are currently featured on the site:

RAMSA Research interviews Michael Jones to learn more about his inventive hand drawings recently featured on Instagram.

Alex Lamis tracks the evolution of library design in the United States.

Bob Stern shares photographs from his travels as a student and young architect.

Melissa DelVecchio and Graham Wyatt discuss Project Soane, the worldwide crowdsourced BIM reconstruction and rendering competition of Sir John Soane’s Bank of England.

Kevin Smith and Graham Wyatt revisit the Kohler Environmental Center seven years after it opened, highlighting the sustainability features that make the building both a residence and an educational tool for sustainability.

Paul Whalen, Grant Marani, Bina Bhattacharyya, and Chen-Huan Liao apply historic lessons of urban design to new high-density developments.
