Research, Craft, and Production: The Entryway Gates at Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray Colleges

RAMSA Partner Melissa DelVecchio and Research Manager Arianne Kouri recently wrote about the design and fabrication of the entryway gates for the new residential colleges at Yale University in the first issue of the Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism.

Robert A.M. Stern Architects was responsible for the design of two new residential colleges at Yale University, the thirteenth and fourteenth residential colleges on the university’s campus. The new colleges house approximately 900 residents and were built to accommodate a 15% increase in Yale’s undergraduate enrollment
