The Robert A.M. Stern Architects Central Park West Collection for KALLISTA Now Available

Robert A.M. Stern Architects is pleased to introduce Central Park West, a new collection of sink and bath fixtures and fittings designed by RAMSA for KALLISTA. The collection’s sophisticated early twentieth-century design, created to easily transition between traditional and contemporary interiors, features highly stylized characteristics and detail work—including knurling, fluting, and monogram-style lettering.

"Even among all the great architecture in New York, there is something particularly special about the buildings along Central Park West overlooking the park," stated Alexander Lamis, RAMSA Partner who co-leads the firm's Product Design. "We wanted to celebrate the things that make Central Park West great—the tradition, the history and the glamour."

"The serif font we chose for the faucet markings derives from hand-chiseled lettering on classical monuments dating back to antiquity; it has over many centuries come to signify the timeless connection between the past and present," added Dan Lobitz, co-leader of the firm's Product Design with Mr. Lamis.

Design Milk, a website dedicated to the work and products of architecture and interior designers, noted how effortlessly The Central Park West collection combines with other KALLISTA designs to help create one-of-a-kind spaces, as well as provide options for large-scale multi-unit bathroom installations.
