The Créateurs Design Awards (CDA), a global celebration of extraordinary accomplishments in architecture, interior design, product design, journalism, and photography, today presented the Andrée Putman Lifetime Achievement award to American architect, teacher, and writer Robert A.M. Stern.
Proudly one of a few organizations to name a major award after a woman in the design industry, the CDA organization thrives in its members' cultural diversity, backgrounds and points of view that all have one thing in common – the passion and commitment to recognize and uphold excellence in the design and creative industry to preserve design integrity and inspire future generations.

The Putman Award is for me a celebration of ingenuity with familiar ideas."
Inspired by the renowned Academy Awards, the Créateurs Design Awards was created with the intention of advancing innovations and vision among creatives all around the world. The seven award categories include Best Residential Project, Best Hospitality/Commercial Project, Best Product Design, Best Project Photography, Best New Collection, Best Design Collaboration and Excellence in Creative Journalism. Awards are voted on by official CDA members.
