Alexis Ryder, Senior Associate, first joined Robert A.M. Stern Architects in 2007. She has been responsible for the design and administration of private residences in Wainscott and Southampton, New York; a garden playhouse in East Hampton, New York; and apartment renovations in New York City and Los Angeles, California. Her residential work also includes designs for a private residence in Kent Woodlands, California; a new garage building in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts; and a 22-car garage and entertaining pavilion in East Hampton. Ms. Ryder's commercial experience includes the Park Avenue offices for the investment firm Angelo, Gordon & Co.
In addition to her design work, Ms. Ryder is actively engaged with professional development efforts within the office: she serves as a mentor to junior design staff members, leads campus recruiting for the University of Miami, and helps plan the office's annual summer trip.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ryder worked with SL Maresca & Associates of Hampton Bays, New York, and Linda Yowell Architects of New York City. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami.
