Biography


Ann O’Connell, Associate Partner, joined Robert A.M. Stern Architects in 2018. She is currently serving as Project Manager for The Bellemont, an apartment house on Manhattan's Upper East Side, as well as several other multifamily residential developments in New York City. At RAMSA, she has contributed to the design and management of a broad range of projects, including Claremont Hall, another Manhattan residential building in Morningside Heights; and 1468 Alberni, a new residential development in Vancouver that, upon completion, will be the tallest Passive House-certified project in North America. Internationally, Ms. O’Connell’s projects include several projects in Asia, most notably an 825,000 m² high-density mixed-use development in the city of Jinjiang, China.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. O’Connell worked with Michael Graves Architecture & Design. Her previous experience spans across planning, residential, hospitality, workplace, and interior design. Ms. O’Connell earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement in the field of architecture. Ann is a registered architect in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
