Biography


Kley Salas, Associate Partner, joined Robert A.M. Stern Architects in 2005. He is currently lead designer on a residential tower at 555 West 22nd Street in New York City; a 31-story independent living senior residence in Los Angeles; four residential buildings in Lima, Peru; and a mixed-use condominium tower in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights. Mr. Salas's multifamily residential experience includes 30 Park Place, an 82-story tower in New York City that combines a 185-key five-star Four Seasons hotel with 157 top-end condominium apartments; Portals V, a mixed-use multifamily building in Washington, DC that received approval from the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts; the Alexander, a 32-story residential building Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Philadelphia; the renovation and adaptive reuse of One Wall Street, a former office building being converted into mixed-use residential tower in Lower Manhattan; and two completed residential towers in Lima, Peru. His projects also include a mixed-use development in New Rochelle, New York; a resort in Hvar, Croatia; a golf village on a brownfield site in New Jersey's Meadowlands; a private residence in Singapore; and the LEED Platinum Caruthers Biotechnology Building at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Mr. Salas received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the City College of New York and his Master of Science degree in Urban Design from Columbia University.
