Scott O'Daniel, Senior Associate, joined Robert A.M. Stern Architects in 2015. His planning experience includes the Village Center Master Plan in New Albany, Ohio, and the South Market Street Master Plan in Wilmington, Delaware. His residential work for the office includes serving as a designer for a multifamily residential building in Boston's South End; a penthouse renovation in Deer Valley, Utah; and a private residence in Sagaponack, New York. Mr. O'Daniel served as a designer on a competition entry for a hotel and residential complex development in Houston, Texas. He is currently serving as the Project Manager for a new headquarters building for American Water in Camden, New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O'Daniel worked with Gehry Partners of Los Angeles, California, where he contributed to the design of mixed-use projects including Facebook Headquarters in Menlo Park, California, and Mirvish+Gehry Toronto in Toronto's arts and entertainment district; as well as cultural projects including the Guggenheim Museum in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; a tower for the LUMA Foundation in Arles, France; and the Foundation Louis Vuitton museum in Paris.
Mr. O'Daniel received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky and his Master of Architecture degree from Yale University, where he was awarded the Christopher Tunnard Memorial Scholarship. His work has been published in The Classicist No. 9 (New York: Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, 2011), and Frank Gehry Recent Project (Tokyo: ADA Edita Tokyo, 2011). Mr. O'Daniel is a registered architect in the State of New York.
