55 H Street

Located within Washington D.C.’s NoMa Business Improvement District, the new 11-story, 476-bed development at 55 H Street NW provides Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus with a mix of residential unit types ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments.

In addition to a residential program for both graduate and undergraduate students, the building includes retail, amenity, and academic spaces on the lower floors. The latter consists of flexible workshop and collaboration spaces, conference rooms and classrooms, offices and student support spaces. The development includes two courtyards, which contain social, recreational, and amenity spaces. Sustainability features include a green roof and solar panels. Located near D.C.’s historic Union Station, the development facilitates easy access to a major transit hub.  55 H Street is an all-electric, low-carbon building with LEED Platinum certification.
