This Palladio-inspired residence is located in a neighborhood known locally as Old Palo Alto. Though the surrounding housing stock is stylistically diverse, the prevalent style is Italianate; thus the palette of materials – stucco, stone, and tile roof – is familiar to the area. The "L" configuration of the house and pool allows the principal interior and exterior spaces to enjoy a southern exposure and views towards 100 year old California live oaks which line the southern edge of this half acre site.
