On Wednesday June 13, 2018, at the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Robert A.M. Stern will join architect John Burgee and architecture critic Paul Goldberger on a panel moderated by Duncan Stroik following the New York City premiere of the film A Conversation with John Burgee: The Architecture of Johnson/Burgee, hosted by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. The documentary explores the life and work of American architect John Burgee, best known for his contributions to iconic postmodernist buildings such as 550 Madison Avenue (the AT&T Building) and the Lipstick Building, while considering his roots in and relationship to Classicism, which played a meaningful role in his development as an architect.
