With expertise in project management and business development, Kevin helps coordinate the firm’s work, support its growth, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other partners. His accessible leadership style is deeply informed by the collaborative nature of RAMSA’s practice and belief that good ideas come from anyone, regardless of experience. Whether working on high-level strategy or focusing on fine-grained details, Kevin is inspired by the firm’s commitment to understanding a community’s history and culture as well as its architecture.
Kevin plays a key role in much of the firm’s ongoing international work, including the master plan of Liangjiang New District Town Center, a 250-acre development in Chongqing, China. He is also working on AVIC Uptown in Jinjiang, one of the most transformative master planning efforts in the firm’s portfolio, with a variety of buildings that bridge western architectural traditions with Chinese vernacular. Currently, Kevin is working on the Charles R. Jones Federal Building in Charlotte, North Carolina, a project that combines the preservation of a historic courthouse and a new 8-story annex, and is leveraging his international and governmental experience to spearhead the firm’s growing work with the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations.
Kevin is a member of the AIA and an active participant in the Congress for New Urbanism. At RAMSA, he also plays a vital role in the professional development of the firm’s junior staff. He’s involved as a campus recruiter for his alma mater Notre Dame and as an official office mentor, ensuring the junior staff gain the necessary experience to earn their license and be successful practitioners. He is a registered architect in the state of Pennsylvania and a LEED Accredited Professional.
