Today the Harvard Kennedy School of Government dedicated its newly renovated campus. Following a ribbon cutting, RAMSA Partner Graham S. Wyatt delivered remarks along with Kennedy School Dean Douglas W. Elmendorf, former Dean David Ellwood, Harvard University President Drew Gilpin Faust, Kennedy School Campaign Chair David M. Rubenstein, and donors Leslie and Abigail Wexner. The celebration concluded with an open house. For

The additions, designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, unite the School's previously disjointed facilities and provide much-needed program areas and commons spaces. Transparent glass-walled facades bring light to the interiors and project a sense of activity to a new fully-landscaped courtyard, giving the Kennedy School its own inviting "yard" of the type instantly associated with Harvard. The Batia and Idan Ofer Building connects the existing Taubman and Belfer Buildings at the third and fourth levels, opening the campus to Eliot Street. Off the courtyard, the Leslie H. Wexner Building connects the existing Littauer Center and David M. Rubenstein Building, providing dining and social spaces including the new Leslie H. Wexner Commons, along with classrooms. An expansion of the Rubenstein Building provides additional classrooms. Together, the three additions establish for the first time continuous internal circulation among the campus's buildings.
