Robert A.M. Stern Architects is thrilled to announce that the 2022 AIA Delaware Design Awards Program is recognizing our renovation of the Wellbeing Center at Warner Hall, University of Delaware.
Among numerous program goals, the project team, led by RAMSA partners Kevin Smith, Jennifer Stone, and Graham Wyatt, sought to preserve the historic architectural character of Warner Hall – a recently decommissioned residence hall – while providing flexibility for future growth and establishing an inclusive and vibrant space for today’s students. The newly repurposed Wellbeing Center at Warner Hall will be home to the university's office facilities for wellbeing engagement, including the Student Wellness, Center for Counseling/ Student Development, and Student Health Services. This project continues RAMSA’s design work on campus, beginning first with the 517-bed South Academy Street Residence Halls completed in 2017.
AIA Delaware is committed to excellence in architecture and looks forward to celebrating outstanding works of architecture through its biennial Design Awards Program. The purpose of the program is to recognize and honor excellence in architectural design by licensed architects and to honor the clients and project teams who work with them to create and enhance our built environment.
